For more than 20 years, the Canadian Conference on Dementia (CCD) has been Canada’s leading academic conference dedicated to advancing dementia research, clinical care, and innovation. What began as a gathering of 150 attendees has grown into a nationally recognized event welcoming more than 700 participants in recent years.

Back by popular demand following last year’s successful launch, the CCD Virtual Conference returns on October 7, 2026. Held in the alternate years between our biennial in-person meetings, the virtual format allows us to engage an even broader community of national and international experts while delivering timely updates in this rapidly evolving field.

With significant advances in new therapies, diagnostic tools, clinical guidelines, and models of care, the annual virtual conference ensures healthcare professionals and researchers stay connected to the latest evidence and best practices in dementia care.
