Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: A Brain and Strengths-Based workshop
November 18 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Did you know that an estimated 4% of the population in Canada has Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD); a neurodevelopmental disorder caused by prenatal exposure to alcohol. These individuals have unique learning and behavioural challenges that require support in schools and at home. This session provides learning strategies that are essential for children and youth with FASD. By mapping easy and practical strategies onto various brain domains, participants will leave this session empowered to support all children and youth with brain-based challenges.
