Inside Our Policy Playbook: Budget 2026 and the National Housing Strategy

Get an inside look at our advocacy efforts and the policy changes we’re working to advance, heading into Budget 2026 and the renewal of the National Housing Strategy.

This will go beyond a surface-level update – we’ll discuss our specific asks, why they matter so much, and show the real impact they could have on communities across the country. Based on recent polling done by CAEH and Abacus data, we’ll share what solutions are top of minds for Canadians and give you an inside look on how that ties to our advocacy work.

We’ll also talk through the key political decision timelines coming up so you know what to look out for and what we’re expecting next. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of our policy asks so you can take action, have conversations in your community, and demand action from your elected officials. We’ll be answering questions and having a broader conversation about our recommendations and the national housing strategy renewal process.
