Trans 101

The London-Middlesex Local Human Services and Justice Coordinating Committee presents Trans 101 with Stevie Brocksom.

Stevie is providing a Trans 101 presentation to introduce folks to gender identity issues along with a Q&A session.

Stevie Brocksom (they/he) is an active community member, author, queer/trans activist and a gender doula. They see clients in the community to support them with social, legal and medical transition.

Stevie also sends t-shirts with trans activism to celebrities and influencers to make the messages more visible and most recently purchased ad space on their local city buses that now reads “Protect Trans Kids”. They have gone viral a few times and most notably worn by David Tennant on Instagram.

Stevie is the President of their own not-for-profit Fairy Godparents-London, and founded the Greyson Jones Memorial Scholarship for transgender and gender non-conforming students attending post-secondary school in Ontario.

Stevie is passionate about equity for transgender people and all marginalized communities, especially with regards to reproductive justice.

When they are not busy with their advocacy work, Stevie can be found spending time with his two kiddos and husband.
