Indigenous-Specific Programming as a Response to Intimate Partner Violence – Webinar – 2025-10-29

The Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres offers two Indigenous Specific – Intimate Violence Prevention Programs (IS-IPVP): the Indigenous Community Justice Program and Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin. IS-IPVP programs are community-based, culturally grounded, and offer meaningful alternatives to mainstream partner assault response programs.

This presentation will provide an overview of the Indigenous Community Justice Program and Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin, the role of victims, and best practices in working with your local Friendship Centre.
