Lunch and Learn Webinar Presented by the West Toronto Human Services and Justice Coordinating Committee on October 10, 2024.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain many of the major mental illnesses (demystify what each actually looks like)
  2. Explore how each of these illnesses may impact a person’s functioning and lead to a need for flexible accommodation in interactions with social institutions
  3. Identify principles for working with people with mental illness (and people in general!)

Presenter:

Dr. Morgan Glass is a resident physician in his 4th year of postgraduate Psychiatry training at the University of Toronto. He completed his Honours Bachelor of Psychology degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by his Doctor of Medicine degree at McMaster University. His professional interests include psychotherapy and the breadth of mental health conditions encountered in his clinical training. He also has a particular interest in teaching in various forms. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, reading graphic memoirs, and playing indie rock and bluegrass music.
