This panel discussion will frame challenges and provide solutions to issues faced by mental health\u00a0addictions, and justice sectors in addressing the needs, and enabling the strengths of young people\u00a0under 18-years-of-age and their families. Through discussion of a family\u2019s experience, and the service system response, we identify key needed resources and actions to improve and optimize services.\u00a0The process of documented learnings from the experience of creating the WWHSJCC Discussion\u00a0Paper on Designing Justice Services with Youth and Families (December 2014) will be highlighted.\u00a0Key new resources for the community will be identified. A new, more responsive model for youth\u00a0forensic assessment services will be presented and discussed.<\/p>\n
