Psychedelics: Uses, Cautions, and Providing Support
December 17 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Using psychedelics in therapy is becoming increasingly popular. This is because experiences with ketamine, psilocybin, MDMA, LSD, and other psychedelic substances can have lasting benefits for people with treatment-resistant mental health concerns.
This workshop explores the history and use of different types of therapeutic substances. You will learn about the neurobiological effects of psychedelics, including their benefits, things to be cautious about, and contraindications. And you will gain the necessary tools for helping others integrate what they learn from psychedelic experiences so you can better understand this growing field.
