Goals and Key Commitments:
The local committee will undertake planning, coordination, and discuss service availability for individuals involved or at risk of involvement with the criminal justice system who are dealing with a mental health disorder, acquired brain injury and concurrent disorder. The committee will bring together service providers to identify local priorities and establish processes for planning, education, joint problem solving and integrated seamless service delivery
Specific Objectives:
provide education to the community-individuals and service providers
to collaborate with agencies and services to improve care for individuals
to provide training for representatives of agencies and services to increase their knowledge in assisting with individuals involved or at risk of involvement with the criminal justice system who are dealing with a mental health disorder, acquired brain injury and concurrent disorder.
